Its been quiet on here so here’s a little update…

I haven’t posted anything since last December and to be honest, I’ve been laying low with my nose to the grind with the job that pays the daily bills and other commitments. I let the Voiceover stuff take a back burner because, well, lets face it, with all thats going on you have to prioritize – or try to prioritize – the time you have for the most important stuff. That also means the mental health dimension of all that.

Having said that and not using the usual warn out phrases and buzz words that describe these days, I wanted to share a little first for me in my Voiceover travels.

I had a former co-worker reach out to help with a special project that was a sort of wedding gift/surprise for some folks she cared about. This was a wedding which was delayed for obvious reasons from 2020 but went ahead this weekend.

My former co-worker created the script she wanted and picked out the other media elements she wanted in the finished audio and to her credit she did a great job for her first time of doing something this type. It made my job pretty easy and all I had to was act like a douchey reporter guy in the audio (maybe too close to home). Anyway, the feedback from the audience was great I’m told and my “client” was happy.
